These Terms cover human-band.com and the Hume Health mobile app (together, the "Services"), both run by Hume Health Corp. The moment you place an order, create an account, or simply use the Services, you're bound by what's written below.
1. Age Requirements
You'll need to be 18 or older — or the legal adult age wherever you live — to buy from human-band.com or set up a Hume Health account. Children aren't who we've built this for, and gathering data from anyone under 13 isn't something we do intentionally.
2. What Happens When You Order
Placing an order is essentially your offer to purchase a Human Band (and any extras like the extended warranty) at the price listed at checkout. There are cases where we might cancel that offer — fraud concerns, pricing glitches, running out of stock — and if that happens, you get every dollar back.
Everything's priced in USD unless we note otherwise, and prices can move without warning, though never in a way that reaches back and changes an order you've already placed.
3. How Shipping And Returns Work
All the specifics on delivery windows and returning a product live on our Refund & Returns page, which counts as part of this agreement.
4. What This Product Is (And Isn't)
The Human Band is a wellness gadget for everyday people, meant to shed light on lifestyle and health patterns over time. It is not a medical device in any regulatory sense, and it makes no attempt to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent illness. Any figure it produces — biological age, metabolic momentum, illness indicators — comes from sensor data run through proprietary algorithms, offered as an estimate rather than clinical fact.
If a medical decision is on the table, talk to an actual doctor first. And if something feels seriously wrong, get help immediately — don't wait on what the app happens to be telling you.
5. Keeping Your Account Locked Down
Whatever occurs under your Hume Health login falls on you, so guard those credentials. Something look off with your account activity? Tell us right away.
6. What's Not Allowed
Reverse-engineering the Human Band's hardware or software in ways that break the law isn't permitted, nor is using our Services to violate someone else's rights or attempting to breach our systems without authorization.
7. Who The Brand Belongs To
"Human Band," "Hume Band," "Hume Health," and everything tied to that branding is owned by Hume Health Corp. The physical design, the app, and every piece of content on this site fall under copyright protection — none of it gets reproduced without our sign-off.
8. The Limits Of Our Liability
Beyond the concrete warranty described in our Refund & Returns policy, the Services come with no further promises, to whatever extent that's legally allowed. Hume Health Corp doesn't accept responsibility for indirect or downstream losses connected to using the product or Services.
9. When These Terms Get Updated
Expect these Terms to be revised now and then, with each edit reflected in a fresh "Last updated" date at the top. Keep using the Services past that point, and the new version is what you're agreeing to.
10. Legal Framework
These Terms operate under the consumer and commercial laws that apply wherever Hume Health Corp is legally headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
