Ordering a wearable sight unseen means trusting the seller a bit. Here's exactly what we promise if the Human Band doesn't end up clicking for you.
45 Days, Starting At Delivery
The day your Human Band shows up marks day one of a 45-day window where you can send it back for a full refund — no reasoning required. Whether it's been worn daily, dunked in a pool, or run through months of workouts, none of that changes your eligibility.
Getting A Return Underway
- Message support via the Hume Health app or the email tied to your order confirmation, and mention you'd like to return your purchase.
- Expect a prepaid shipping label in your inbox within about 1 business day.
- Pack up the band, its strap, and the charging cable in whatever box you have on hand — original packaging isn't necessary.
- Drop the package at a carrier location using that prepaid label.
- Once we've received and inspected everything, your refund lands back on the original payment method within roughly 5–7 business days.
The Refund You'll See
You get back what you paid for the device itself. If you also bought the optional 10-Year Warranty and you're sending the band back too, that add-on refunds alongside it — there's nothing left for it to protect once the device is gone.
Who Pays To Ship It Back
We do, completely. As long as your order came directly from human-band.com and falls within the 45-day window, the return label costs you nothing.
A Couple Of Things To Keep In Mind
- This particular guarantee is tied to orders placed straight through human-band.com. Bought through a third-party retailer? Their policy governs that purchase instead, since we can't guarantee identical terms there.
- Refunds always go back to the payment method used originally — we can't reroute the money elsewhere.
- Missing the 45-day window doesn't automatically shut the door — warranty repair or replacement might still be an option (details just below).
Requesting Warranty Service
A 1-year hardware warranty ships with every unit, covering legitimate manufacturing problems — sensor glitches, charging failures, or a strap that gives out under everyday wear. If the optional 10-Year Warranty was added at checkout, that protection stretches across the full decade from your purchase date.
Starting a claim just takes reaching out to support with your order number and a short note on the issue. Most hardware defects get resolved through a free replacement shipped your way.

If it's really just a strap size or color swap you're after — not a refund — say so when you contact support. That's usually a quicker fix than processing a full return and placing a fresh order.
